TENSOREX PHANTOM
For constant restraint of catenary wires and carrier cables on trains and buses.
Catenary wires in trams and buses are continuously subjected to temperature-induced expansion. This is compensated for by tensioning systems to keep the sag of conductor wires as constant as possible. But standard wheel tensioners and retensioning gauges take up a lot of space. It's often necessary to build vertical extensions along the mast and to build installation ducts in tunnels. Advanced: TENSOREX®-PHANTOM is a patented automatic tensioning system that takes up much less space than other systems. The tensioning system is easily fitted inside the round mast. The mast offers perfect protection for the vertical components.
